Red, The Steakhouse
Red, The Steakhouse
With the dark wood, white table cloths and requisite wine wall, something about Red screams “NY city serious” rather than “breezy Miami.” Sure, there’s the kind of seafood selection you’d expect from a restaurant three blocks from the ocean, but the emphasis here is squarely on the steaks. Red occupies roughly the same price point as The Forge, but with a more standard steakhouse menu (that is, if you don’t count their selection of out-of-the-ordinary side dishes, e.g. Parmesan “Tater Tots”). This place seems to be in a long-running competition with 112 for “best steak in Miami.” We’ll let you decide.
